Bingo for review and fun

Setting up for Success

Using games helps establish good hand positions and posture. The video helps explain some of the tasks. If you have questions leave a comment and I'll clarify.
Wishing you a very happy musical journey.

This gives you a blank template that you can adapt for the student and personalize with holiday and supplementary music. Include a few easy bow games and reminders on good posture and hand positions.  Even the advanced students need reminders to keep bow thumb bent and to keep the bow parallel to bridge.

These are some of my favorites for helping set hands and learning rhythms. Video shows a few that I have developed that you may not have seen at a workshop.   Click here: Video Link to see hand positions and games

Sample for early Book 1 students to encourage review and good hand positions.

Cut up the pieces to draw out. A few a day for a small child helps reinforce the hand and posture positions.

I can't remember where I got this, but it was probably at a workshop.  Attend workshops. They are really helpful. I especially like the Bryce Canyon Music Camp https://brycecanyonmusiccamp.com and the Intermountain Suzuki Strings Institute https://issisuzuki.org
